ChildTime is a licensed and bonded nanny placement service specializing in matching nannies with families. We have been providing these services in Santa Barbara since 1985.

What is a nanny?

A nanny is a childcare professional who is committed to your family. Nannies are dependable and stable. They enjoy children, and encourage them to participate in creative developmental playtime. They are very aware of the importance of safety. Nannies are available for full-time or part-time positions on a live-in or live-out basis. In addition to childcare, nannies may also be responsible for domestic chores including tidying children's rooms, washing clothes, storing their toys, and preparing meals.

Why a contract?

A contract between parents and nannies covers wage expectations and time commitments as well as specific instructions. Clarification is provided on how you want the nanny to spend time with your children, the nanny's domestic duties, and safety and emergency information.

ChildTime Placements

Nannies
Career-oriented childcare professionals with strong childcare backgrounds. Live-in or live-out, full-time or part-time, providing consistent childcare. May be available to travel with families.

Mothers' Helpers
Temporary live-in or live-out helpers, both full- and part-time, who can provide childcare for parents of a baby. Their services include light domestic duties, cooking, shopping, and errands while the mother spends time with her baby.

Newborn Care
Caregivers specializing in the needs of infants from birth. Traditionally, the nanny accompanies new mothers home from the hospital, and serves two to four weeks in residence.

Governesses
Live-in and live-out child educators, both full-time and part-time. Will travel with family upon request. In addition to educational tutoring and guidance, will perform standard nanny duties.

Traveling Nannies
For families with children traveling locally, nationally, or internationally, who desire full-charge childcare and supervision.
